Primary responsibilities and scope of position include the following:
The Production Analyst is part of the Vermont Packinghouse leadership team and is primarily responsible for the data management, analysis, and data reporting for production operations. The role supports the scheduling and customer communication functions as needed. The role’s responsibilities are to be understood and carried out in coordination with the supervisory and management teams to ensure the organization’s overall success.
Specific accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Effective prioritizing of daily and longer term work tasks in coordination with supervisory & management team and organization’s needs.
· Maintain mindset committed to continuous improvement and overall company success.
· Maintain effective knowledge of production processes and general work tasks along with relevant information flow. Additionally, maintain a basic understanding of ancillary departments’ processes and relevant information flow.
· Maintain and data and data systems for the facility’s daily needs. Support production team on order sheets, effective order execution, analysis, and reporting of resulting data.
· Maintain productive and positive working relationship with colleagues and superiors. Contribute towards effective communication and teamwork within the facility.
· Work with team to identify problems in both production and the facility as a whole and generate and implement solutions to those problems.
· Excellent composure and decision making under pressure.
· Other duties as necessary and assigned.
Education / Experience
Associates Degree or Equivalent. Previous experience in data entry, data systems, customer service, and work scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organization and recordkeeping skills
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (and similar) Word and Excel applications
· Ability to learn, process, and execute new information
