We are currently looking for a Territory Manager for the Northern Region to join the Roofing Team. The Northern Territory, as we understand it, comprises the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware.
The employee in this role will have the following roles and responsibilities:
· Build a network of architects, designers, builders, distributors, and contractors.
· Utilize company’s CRM to facilitate communication with customers and internal company departments
· Meet or exceed KPIs and budgeted revenue for your assigned territory
· Analyze current market conditions, and develop action plans to drive innovation and growth initiatives, including introducing new products to the market
· Perform product demonstrations and training
· Formulate and qualify new target list
· Develop targets into new accounts
· Strengthen existing customer relationships
The ideal candidate would have experience in Construction, Building Materials or the Roofing Industry, and be local to either Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Detroit, Washington, DC, Columbus, OH, Louisville or St. Louis.
Required:
· Minimum 7 years of outside sales/territory management experience (preferably in the building supply industry and/or working with distributors, architects and specifiers)
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Experience working with a CRM
· Must be self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently of daily supervision
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility as well as a background check will be required at time of hire. This role does not provide for relocation.
The position is full time and requires the ability to travel around 50% of the time.
