The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Vermont State University, Department of Health Science, invites applications for a Part-Time teaching position for the 2025 Spring Semester (January 21-May 16, 2025).
The course to be taught is Physical Education, PED-2160-S03, Emergency Care and Personal Safety
3 Credits
This course will provide the participant with essential information for developing the functional first aid capabilities of a first responder. As a crucial link in the EMS system, first responders evaluate and treat patients until more advanced medical help can arrive. Students will challenge national first aid and emergency cardiac care certification examinations at the completion of the course.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must possess a master's degree or related field. Teaching experience in secondary school or college is a plus. A valid driver's license is required.
Salary:
Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
