Vermont State University's Theatre Arts Program invites applications for a part-time professor of acting to teach various courses. The ideal candidate should have a Master of Fine Arts in Acting or Directing Theatre, as well as significant professional acting experience. Additionally, they should have three years of professional theatre experience and prior teaching experience at the college level. Teaching responsibilities include instructing Acting I, Acting IV, and Theater in the City courses. The courses are scheduled as follows: THA 2121 S01 Acting I- 2:00PM- 03:15PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, THA 3124 S01 Acting IV- 10:50AM -12:05PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and THA 1010 Theater in the City -Online. The successful candidate will be expected to teach acting classes from beginner to advanced levels, including a travel class to New York.
