This position will help implement workforce development goals of the VT EPSCoR 5-year grant, including helping recruit undergraduate students for a 10-week summer research internship and conduct outreach to schools and community groups to meet the grant deliverables.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CWPE Program Manager to ensure all aspects of the program meet the deadlines and deliverables outlined in the grant, including providing highlights and reporting program participant outcomes.
- Perform administrative operations related to Vermont UVM EPSCoR & CWPE STEM programs.
- Meet monthly with EPSCoR team to provide progress updates.
- Meet weekly with CWPE Program Manager to implement programmatic goals.
- Assist in maintaining program records and participant data.
- Participate in external training to develop new outreach skills and knowledge.
- Help to create an environment of valuing, encouraging, and supporting diversity in cultural, ethnic, gender, and other individual differences in people.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to foster collaboration, working well at all levels within VT EPSCoR, VTSU, and across educational institutions statewide.
- Exhibit a high tolerance for multi-tasking and deadline-specific duties and accuracy in the details.
- Strong analytical skills and mastery of technology in daily work.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of computers, word processing, spreadsheets, and database maintenance required
- Experience with database management and accounting desirable
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Occasional after-hours and weekends required.
