Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the String Orchestra/Quartet in rehearsals, preparing students for end-of-semester concerts
- Teach individual applied violin and viola lessons to music majors and non-majors, adhering to the Music Program's guidelines and expectations
Qualifications:
- Experience playing and teaching violin and viola, working with string ensembles, and professional performing
- Minimum 5 years of experience teaching violin and viola to students of varying ages and abilities
- Minimum 5 years of professional violin and viola playing experience
- Knowledge of repertoire suitable for string ensembles and quartets
- Experience directing or leading string ensembles and quartets
