POSITION: Part-time, Adjunct Instructor
RESPONSIBILITIES: VTSU Online uses Canvas and provides a generic course template for all courses. The instructor is responsible for adding outcomes, academic materials, discussion and assignment that support the course description. Additionally, VTSU Online instructors are obligated to adhere to the VTSU Online Standards that address instructor presence, student engagement, instructor expectations, and assessment of student work.

Course Description
This capstone course deals with ways organizations build and sustain superior competitive positions and achieve long-term profitability. This capstone course develops an integrated view of an organization that encompasses functional areas such as operations, marketing, accounting, and finance. The case study method, simulations, projects, and presentations may be used, with emphasis placed on policy formulation, strategic implementation, and control. Both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations may be included.
Qualifications
For consideration, candidates must possess at least a master's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience. Experience in online teaching is essential, and familiarity with Canvas desired. Experience in teaching adult learners is required.
