The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. Responsibilities

Day-to-day the Marketing Analytics and Operations Director will help build, measure, optimize and scale our marketing programs to drive growth. This role is responsible for measuring and evaluating marketing performance as well as supporting demand generation and integrated marketing campaigns including:
Reporting
- Design and implement (real time) tracking across paid, owned and earned channels, along with the development of an MTA model that provides holistic understanding of marketing touchpoints, their impact and interplay
- Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into effectiveness of marketing activity
- Deliver insights to leadership on channel performance (web, media, email) relative to marketing objectives, with recommendations on ROI improvement
- Create measurement plans and “learning agendas” to identify KPI’s, intended outcomes and projected performance
- Develop audience models to quantify high-value prospects and inform acquisition and nurturing strategy
- Analyze SEO performance, organic traffic trends, and content engagement metrics, optimizing digital marketing effectiveness
- Implement and manage on-site experimentation, including A/B testing, heatmapping, UX analysis to enhance site performance and landing page conversion
- Manage and measure media campaign performance, defining measures of success, setting up tagging and tracking, providing reporting (as above) and advising on ongoing optimization
- Manage lead management process, including lead-scoring, audience segmentation and nurturing strategy and willingness to explore and apply AI to maximize marketing efficiency.
- Own, maintain and improve Verndale’s mar-tech stack, managing the health of our database and lead-management process, in partnership with Sales
- Inform marketing communications and targeted messaging based on audience segment insights to improve engagement and conversion rates
- Provide guidance, management and mentorship to one direct report
- Ensure marketing data privacy compliance, implementing governance frameworks for GDPR and CCPA where applicable
- Maintain vendor relations for mar-tech stack, and ensure platform capabilities keep pace with business ambitions
- This pivotal role requires a depth of expertise in hands-on marketing analysis and operations, preferably in a brand-side role/marketing department
- 7 years’ experience in digital marketing analytics (Salesforce Sales Cloud, Website, Media)
- Proven expertise with measurement platforms (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio)
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with marketing data and analytics tools (SEMRush, Optimizely/ODP, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Bombora)
- Hands-on experience managing marketing automation platforms: Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot)
- SQL and advanced Excel experience preferred
- Strong verbal and presentation skills, adept at delivering compelling insights to senior audiences
