JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Accountant is a full-time position within the finance team. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer of North America and will challenge you in a positive way and allow you to experience various aspects of accounting, controlling and payroll within a dynamic group and organization. The position is based in Maynard, MA.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Responsible for working with the payroll service provider and the factory managers in the processing, monitoring, and reviewing of the hours and the weekly payroll.
· Work closely with the payroll service provider to ensure that all salary increases, adjustments, paid time off, and bonuses are accurately calculated and processed.
· Be the direct point of contact of the staff for any issue related to HR, payroll, time management or health insurance.
· Responsible for the day-to-day full cycle accounting.
· Perform month-end closing account (bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, GL reconciliations), journal entries and compile various monthly reports.
· Upload financial statements in the consolidation software each month and work on the intercompany reconciliations with the other business unit accountants.
· Assist Plant Financial Controller in group requests and yearly budgeting processes.
