What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney position at Vernis & Bowling?
Due to our continued growth, Vernis and Bowling, a national firm, is seeking an associate attorney for its Workers’ Compensation Department at the Miami office. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in Florida workers’ compensation defense, although no prior experience is required. Candidates must be able to work independently on an assigned case. Candidates must also have experience handling general discovery matters, including taking depositions, interviewing witnesses, responding to written discovery, preparing motions, etc. Trial experience is a plus.
