As a full-time psychiatrist at our rural health clinic in Viroqua, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, providing therapy, and managing medications while improving the community's access to behavioral health services. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and patient-centered care that meets the needs of the communities we serve.
What to expect as a Psychiatrist within VMH's growing practice :
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals, including a growing team dedicated to behavioral health services
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives
