What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist - temporary position at Vernon Memorial HealthCare?
Great opportunity to work at the top of your license across the scope of practice of Speech Language Pathology. Speech Language Pathologists evaluate and treat outpatients and inpatients for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing pathologies. Evaluate and treat outpatient pediatrics and adolescents with communication and cognition disorders for speech and language. Evaluate and treat outpatients of all ages for augmentative and alternative communication assessing, acquiring, and treating with speech generating devices.
Work in collaboration with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, and Providers to maximize evidence-based treatment for optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction. Our state-of-the-art outpatient clinic offers a comfortable and pleasing environment.
This is a part-time temporary position starting in April 2025 and lasting approximately 4 months. Hours are flexible Monday through Friday, approximately 16-24 hours, 2-3 days per week and may vary from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. No weekends or holidays.
Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Compliance, and State of Wisconsin Speech Language Pathology license required. CPR certification required. DPI certification a plus. Minimum starting rate $33.00 per hour depending on experience. Apply on-line at www.vmh.org.
