What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tutor - Flexible Hours/As Needed position at Vernon Public Schools?
ACADEMIC TUTORS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Teaching certification or direct classroom experience working with children Pre-K to Grade 12 and/or students requiring special education preferred
- Tutoring services may be provided at a location determined by the parent and administrator, or virtually, if needed
- The number of hours per day/week may vary
- Meet with students as scheduled to provide instruction which may include academic reinforcement, homework assistance, testing support, study and organizational skills
- Maintain and submit reports detailing student progress
- This is a part-time position without benefits
- $31.77 per hour
The approximate dates vary based on needs. These needs may change at any time.
