Your Impact
As an Assistant Project Manager at Verogy, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the full lifecycle of solar projects, from early-stage development through execution. You will help drive projects forward by managing workflows, tracking key milestones, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Your ability to coordinate schedules, monitor project progress, and proactively address challenges will contribute to the successful development, permitting, and execution of solar projects. By keeping projects on track and aligned with Verogys mission, you will help expand clean energy infrastructure while maintaining efficiency and quality.
This is a hybrid role based in West Hartford, CT, offering a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration. Candidates should expect to work in-office at least two days a week to engage with team members, attend meetings, and support collaborative projects. The on-site commitment for the first 3-6 months in the role may be higher due to job-specific training.
Your Role :
Support solar projects throughout their full lifecycle, from early feasibility and planning through permitting, contracting, and execution.
Manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
Assist in tracking project progress, maintaining documentation, and coordinating project-related communications.
Work closely with internal teams such as Business Development, Operations, and Construction to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
Monitor project risks and assist in problem-solving to keep projects on track.
Engage with external partners, including consultants, permitting authorities, and vendors, to facilitate smooth project execution.
Prepare project reports, status updates, and presentations for both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Ensure a seamless transition from project planning to execution, supporting the necessary handoffs between teams.
What Youll Bring :
2-4 years of experience in project management, coordination, or related roles, preferably in renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure development.
Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate across multiple teams.
Experience managing schedules, workflows, or project documentation.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) or other organizational tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to anticipate and resolve challenges before they impact project timelines.

Compensation :
The annual salary range for this role is $65,000-85,000. The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
