Your Impact
As a Senior Project Manager at Verogy, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the successful execution of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Utility-Scale solar projects from early-stage development through engineering, procurement, construction, and final commissioning. You will lead high-value, complex projects while mentoring junior project managers and optimizing project delivery strategies.
Your expertise in budgeting, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory compliance will be essential in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with Verogys clean energy goals.
This is a hybrid role based in West Hartford, CT, offering a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration. Candidates should expect to work in-office at least two days a week to engage with team members, attend meetings, and support collaborative projects. The on-site commitment for the first 3-6 months in the role may be higher due to job-specific training.
Your Role :
Oversee the full project lifecycle for multiple large-scale solar projects, ensuring seamless execution from development to commissioning.
Provide strategic leadership in project planning, execution, and risk mitigation to optimize efficiency and financial outcomes.
Manage complex project schedules, budgets, and contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with all obligations.
Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction to drive project success.
Act as the primary liaison for senior leadership, clients, investors, utilities, and regulatory agencies, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Evaluate and optimize project delivery strategies, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Mentor and support junior project managers, providing guidance on best practices and technical execution.
Ensure all projects comply with permitting, interconnection, environmental, and safety regulations.
Review and negotiate contracts, including EPC agreements, subcontracts, and vendor contracts.
Monitor and report on project KPIs, providing data-driven insights to senior leadership for decision-making.
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays and cost overruns.
What Youll Bring :
7 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on solar, renewable energy, or construction projects.
Bachelors degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven ability to manage high-value, large-scale C&I and Utility-Scale solar projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring junior project managers.
Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for solar or construction projects.
Deep understanding of permitting, interconnection, procurement, and construction processes.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Procore) and financial modeling software.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership and investors.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements related to solar project execution.

Compensation :
The annual salary range for this role is $115,000-140,000. The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
