What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser/Food Runner position at Verona Grill?
Looking for hard working and experienced Bussers and food runners. Willing to put in the team work and efficiency it takes to create a wonderful experience for guests. Quickly and accurately delivering prepared food from the kitchen to dining tables, ensuring timely service while maintaining a high standard of presentation. Clearing tables of dirty dishes, resetting tables with clean linens and silverware, maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, and assisting servers with general tasks as needed.
- Checking food orders for accuracy before delivery
- Delivering food to tables promptly and politely
- Managing food delivery timing to maintain table flow
- Addressing any immediate concerns regarding food orders
- Maintaining cleanliness of food runner station
- Attention to detail, ability to work quickly and efficiently, teamwork, basic cleaning knowledge
- Removing dirty dishes from tables
- Clearing crumbs and spills from tables
- Replenishing table settings with clean linens and silverware
- Cleaning and sanitizing high chairs and tables
- Assisting servers with drink orders or additional needs
- Maintaining cleanliness of the dining area floor and bussing station
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
