What You’ll Do:
- Develop and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of Verona, its products, and current medical/scientific research within the respiratory space.
- Establish Verona’s Medical Affairs presence by building valued relationships with thought leaders and the broader medical community.
- Represent Verona at scientific and medical events within your geographical area.
- Deliver compelling medical/scientific presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Gather and share insights from interactions with healthcare professionals to inform internal strategies.
- Provide support at professional meetings and congresses by collecting insights, developing tools, and presenting approved data.
- Respond to and document unsolicited scientific information requests related to Verona products.
- Advanced degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D.) required.
- 2 years of related work experience (clinical, managed care, or industry experience).
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with thought leaders.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, especially in regulated environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Adherence to all regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Willingness to travel up to 70%, including some weekends; valid driver’s license required.
- Residency in California required.
- Successful completion of pre-hire drug test
