We are hiring a Regional Sales Director, reporting to the Area Executive Director of Sales. This role provides strategic leadership for a regional sales team, translating business objectives into action and fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture. The Regional Sales Director will develop and execute business plans, drive sales growth, and ensure alignment with Verona’s mission. Travel is 70-80% depending on where you reside.
What You'll do:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Respiratory Sales Specialists, setting a high standard of performance and accountability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key executives, decision-makers, and influencers across major healthcare accounts.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, ensuring alignment with national sales goals and adherence to strategy.
- Provide regular coaching and feedback to enhance selling skills, product knowledge, time management, and customer engagement.
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to drive strategic decision-making.
- Ensure full compliance with Verona’s commercial policies, industry regulations, and legal guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5-7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Previous experience as a Regional or District Sales Manager or equivalent leadership role preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading, developing, and motivating teams to exceed sales goals.
- Strong expertise in pharmaceutical sales, including strategic planning, customer engagement, and data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with product launches and/or turnarounds is a plus.
- Must meet Verona’s Qualified Driver criteria (valid license, clean driving record).
- Pre-hire drug test required.
- Strict compliance with Verona’s commercial compliance policy, and all applicable federal and state laws and guidance relating to product promotion and information dissemination.
- Ability to meet any requirements set by healthcare customers and their facilities for access to those facilities (e.g., vaccination requirements, mask requirements, etc.).
- Must reside in the district listed.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive base salary range of $180,000-$215,000 USD (final salary based on location, experience, and qualifications).
