Overview:
As a Producer on the Creative Team at Veronica Beard, you will play a pivotal role in bringing the brand's vision to life across multiple channels. You’ll manage the end-to-end production process for campaigns, photo and video shoots, and other creative initiatives, ensuring projects are executed seamlessly, on time, and within budget.
We are seeking an experienced Creative Producer to join our fashion company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in producing high-quality assets, collaborating with ecommerce, marketing and creative teams to produce exceptional visual content. Reports into the SVP, Brand Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to plan, develop and execute all photoshoots.
- Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and schedules for photoshoots, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently, all stakeholders are informed and aligned, and key milestones are met.
- Develop, manage, and maintain full creative budget, constantly updating, actualizing and reporting regular updates to leadership and cross functional partners.
- Source and hire photographers, models, hair and makeup artists, stylists, and other crew members as required for each photoshoot.
- Maintain existing and grow new relationships with photographers, directors, models, videographers, casting agents, hair and make-up artists, and stylists. Arrange portfolio reviews, go-sees, and fittings for talent and creative team leaders.
- Negotiate contracts, fees, and usage rights with talent and vendors.
- Coordinate all shoot-related logistics, including location scouting, travel arrangements, and equipment rental as needed.
- Ensure that all necessary permits and legal requirements are obtained before each photoshoot.
- Manage the full crew team on set, ensuring that all elements of the photoshoot run smoothly and efficiently. Enforce day of schedule.
- Increase efficiency and quality of content and report on impact on business objectives.
- In partnership with the Manager, Creative Operations, oversee all aspects of in-house photo studio including scheduling, equipment, and maintenance (in partnership with the VB Ops Team).
- Own and manage the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, in partnership with other Creative, Ecomm, and IT team members.
- Stay up to date on industry trends to bring innovative ideas and efficiencies to the production process.
- Manage Junior Producer and monitor their performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a photoshoot producer in the fashion industry
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and schedules for photoshoots
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Thinks with both sides of the brain: creative vision and strong organizational skills
- Listens well and no task is too small
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with talent and vendors
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative concepts for photoshoots
- Takes initiative with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Responds positively to feedback and adapts quickly to change
The salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $95,000. The relevant salary range will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
