Overview:
Veronica Beard is looking for a Porter based in our NYC office. This role reports to the Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance, cleaning, dusting of offices, kitchens, bathrooms, common areas, corridors, etc.
- Assist with keeping building in compliance with regulatory and monitoring agencies
- Assist with maintaining a sanitary environment
- Submit supply list for timely ordering of cleaning supplies
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years' experience working in building maintenance
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible schedule
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time as needed
The hourly rate for this role is between $20.00 and $23.00. The relevant hourly rate will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
