Position Overview
As a product manager with the Government Solutions business, you will spearhead the market-facing efforts to develop, expand, and enhance our product offering by analyzing RFPs, gathering requirements, and designing innovative solutions. In this business-critical role, you will merge customer needs with technology to cast a vision for Verra Mobility's legacy and future Government Solutions. Our mission is to positively influence driver behavior and improve road safety. To achieve this, you will collaborate with SMEs in legal, operations, engineering, and sales to bring this vision to life. We are looking for a proactive and curious individual with a passion for technology, capable of leading innovation and driving execution.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations
- Develop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy
- Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy
- Translate business requirements into actionable product and technical requirements
- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance
- Determine internal and contract/partner resources
- Partner with hardware, engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment on solutions
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers to achieve business objectives for the product
- Contribute to investment decision making and finances for the product
- Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or another engineering / technical degree, or equivalent practical experience required
- MBA a plus
- Minimum 5 years working in technology and product development
- Minimum 3 years in defining requirements, journey mapping, and prototyping based on user needs
- Minimum 3 years leading product strategy, including scoping projects and charting/maintaining roadmaps
- Broad understanding of cloud and compute technologies, such as AWS/Azure
- Experience in developing solutions against RFPs
- Experience in developing image/video processing solutions a huge plus
- Experience in developing mobility and road safety solutions preferred
- Knowledge of imaging hardware a plus
- Excellent skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and analysis
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Solid written & verbal communication skills and gifted in interpersonal interactions (e.g., collaboration, consensus building, conflict management, etc.)
- Ability to foster positive client interactions while challenging and probing for insights
- Experience driving cross functional teams across all levels and functions
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - managing diverse priorities
- Must be able to travel 20% of the time
