Verrill is actively reviewing resumes for a Legal Assistant position in our Boston Office in Massachusetts. This role is a full-time, non-exempt position supporting attorneys in our Energy, Telecommunications and Natural Resources Practice Group. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, revising legal documents and correspondence, proofreading, timekeeping, processing monthly invoices, maintaining files (paper and electronic), calendaring and tracking deadlines, coordinating travel arrangements, creating presentations, conducting research, assisting clients, and responding promptly with the ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position also provides administrative support to Verrill’s Diversity Partner.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with at least two (2) years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be capable of producing high quality work in a timely and professional manner, while providing exceptional client service and team support.
The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and advanced computer skills (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Applicants should have proven project management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks successfully, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
