I am working with a highly regarded law firm in Atlanta to find an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney. This firm offers a dynamic work environment where you will play a key role in helping clients navigate the complexities of labor and employment law.
Role Overview:
- Providing expert legal guidance to employers on employment law compliance, including wage and hour issues, workplace discrimination, and employee benefits.
- Representing clients in employment-related disputes, from pre-litigation negotiations to full-scale litigation.
- Advising on workplace policies, employee handbooks, and collective bargaining agreements to ensure legal compliance.
- Assisting clients with internal investigations, addressing claims of harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
- Offering strategic counsel on matters such as employee discipline, terminations, and workforce reductions.
- Leading the firm's efforts in educating clients on evolving employment regulations and risk management strategies.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in Labor and Employment Law.
- Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, wage and hour regulations, and anti-discrimination laws.
- Proven experience in handling complex employment law cases and providing legal solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts to clients clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach to legal practice.
