The Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will have experience in the lower middle market, a strong track record in deal origination, and the ability to leverage an established client network to drive new business. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts within the industrials sector, identifying and securing new client opportunities.
- Oversee and execute M&A, debt advisory, and restructuring transactions, ensuring successful deal outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
- Provide strategic advice to clients, leveraging deep sector knowledge and financial expertise.
- Drive team leadership, mentoring and developing junior professionals within the firm.
- Collaborate across teams to enhance the firm’s market presence and thought leadership in the industrials sector.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive transactions-related investment banking experience – minimum of 10 years in corporate finance, M&A advisory, or investment banking, with a strong focus on the industrials sector.
- MBA from a top-tier college or university preferred; Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting (or significant relevant prior work experience) required.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple complex projects in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills at an executive level.
- Proven ability to develop new business, originate transactions, and maintain a strong client network.
- Demonstrated maturity, integrity, and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to drive initiatives independently and within a team environment.
- Strong financial modeling, research, and strategic financial analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency with financial research tools and MS Office.
- FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 licensed (or willingness to obtain if required).
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
