Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Oncology Unit
RN - MED/SURG ONCOLOGY
Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical/Surgical Unit will have the following job responsibilities:
- You will maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients
- You will manage efficient flow of patient care including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing and discharges
- You will maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results
- You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders
- You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans
- You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit
RN-MED/SURG
Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical/Surgical Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- 1 year of Recent RN experience. (Does not need to have acute care experience. IT IS STRONGLY PREFERRED HOWEVER, THEY WOULD BE OPEN FOR LTAC EXPERIENCE) (RECENT RN EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLY PREFERRED)
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
- Current BLS required
- Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
- BSN is preferred
