Job Overview
As a Police Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining law and order within the community. Duties

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity.
• Respond to emergency calls and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
• Conduct investigations into crimes, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
• Enforce traffic laws and regulations, issuing citations when necessary.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, arrests, and investigations.
• Engage with community members to foster positive relationships and promote public safety.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills in leadership, first aid, CPR, and report writing.

Requirements

• Must currently be attending or successfully completed a Missouri POST certified basic academy.
• Must possess or be eligible to possess a Class A Peace Officer License from the State of Missouri.
• Must pass background checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
