Scope and Purpose of Position
Coordinate daily operations within an assigned production area. Assist with training and coaching of staff support KPI’s according to department work instructions.

Essential Functions
- Execute all activities associated with respect to quality, customer service, cost, environmental, health and safety within assigned area
- Responsible for achieving KPI goals within respected areas
- Ensure the application of consistent processes and procedures to support efficient operations and enhance customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for solutions
- Train associates and work closely with other staff members to execute the facility cross training plan
- Reviews spoilage to determine and document cause and disposition
- Complete daily walkthrough of department
- Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), prescribed safety and hazardous materials handling procedures, and Federal/State laws regulating hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal
- High School Diploma/GED required/or minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- ABO certification required or ability to acquire it within 24 months of obtaining the position
- Experience working in a fast paced environment with a record of continuously increased responsibility
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in working with structured procedures and processes
- Ability to read and comprehend English instructions, correspondence, and/or memos is required, as is the capacity to write similar correspondence relaying opportunities or findings
- Skill to effectively present information in one-on-one and group settings is necessary
- Bilingual ability, particularly in Spanish, is desirable
- Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
- General problem solving abilities
- Ability to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
