Description
- Install Electrical and Electronic Control Systems and equipment, PLC's, MCC's, Lighting, Power supplies, Fire and Gas, and communications systems with minimal supervision.
- Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills of Electrical / Electronic issues relative to Control Systems and equipment.
- Install and maintain Lighting and Power distribution systems.
- Route, fabricate and install cable tray.
- Route, bend and install conduit runs.
- Gland and terminate cables.
- Hook up generators, transformers, MCC's (Motor Control Center) Nav-Aids etc
- Demolition of cable and conduit runs
- Proficient in the use of tools of the trade
- Read drawings and P&ID's
- Knowledge of industry standards, National Electrical Code and relevant Government regulations
- Recognize and avoid safety hazards and dangers
- All above functions performed with minimal supervision
