Overview
A well-established industry leader in the store fixture and commercial cabinetry industry is looking to add a full-time CAD Drafter to our growing team. The work location is in Lititz PA (Onsite). This is a direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with clear direction from management, and have atleast their Associates Degree in CAD Drafting while being proficient utilizing Soildworks as well as MS Word/Excel. Specifically creating parts, assemblies, production drawings, and bill of materials to Versatek engineering standards.
Responsibilities:
-Draft and Revise Drawings/B.O.M. for Production and Purchasing utilizing Solidworks and MRP system
-Ability to develop Solidworks models and print drawings from which CNC Programmers and CNC Operators can clearly and accurately obtain specifications
-Ability to develop B.O.M. specifications and material yields from which Purchasing can accurately source materials
-Identify and communicate discrepancies regarding manufacturing design specifications or material specifications
-Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
-Collaborate with all departments (Sales, Project Management, Purchasing, Production)
Requirements:
- Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science in Computer Aided Drafting or similar technical degree.
- Experience: Zero (0) to four (4) years’ job-related experience.
- Technical aptitude, communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to be part of a team
Qualifications:
- Required : Use of Solidworks 3D Modeling and Drawing
- Ability to understand and manipulate client provided information and files
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete assigned projects in a timely, accurate, and positive manner
- Must be open minded, and willing to learn new processes and technologies
