The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist with expertise in Azure Cloud, with a focus on security, to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security measures to protect our Azure cloud infrastructure. This role involves working closely with development teams to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security solutions for Azure cloud environments
- Monitor and manage security configurations and policies within Azure
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents and breaches
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into cloud deployments
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Stay updated on the latest Azure security features and best practices
- Provide training and support to staff on Azure security protocols
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
What You’ll Do
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in cloud security, specifically with Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of Azure security tools and services (e.g., Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure AD, etc.)
- Proficiency in security frameworks and best practices for cloud environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, or CCSP
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools
- Familiarity with automation tools to configure and manage Azure
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus
