Engineering Assistant

Job description:
- Act as the key interface between the Engineering and Customer Service in trouble-shooting problems associated with the Company's final product and the customer's building process.
- Support the customer in areas such as: Drawings, Instruction Manuals, Bill of Materials, Care Packages.
- Interact with other members of the Company's Sales and Customer Service Teams to develop strategies, resolve problems and implement solutions to support the Customer.
- Provide answers on behalf of the Engineering Department. Relay information from the engineering department to the Sales/Customer Experience Teams. Update project notes within collaborative operation software.
- Research fulfilled order information to ensure accurate product details released from engineering department.
- Run 2D Analysis on tubular frames when necessary.
Requirements:
- Research oriented
- Experience in troubleshooting and customer service
- Time management and Project Management skills necessary
- Detailed note taking and communication skills
- Understanding of technical drawings
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degrees or technical school certificate in a mechanical related discipline a plus
- Strong PC skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Power Point), Google Sheets, Microsoft 365
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written as well as proven presentation skills.
- Ability to clearly and effectively interact with customers on a variety of levels.
- Time management and Project Management skills necessary
- Detailed note taking and communication skills
- Understanding of technical drawings
