Engineering Assistant Pay is based on experience Job description : Act as the key interface between the Engineering and Customer Service in trouble-shooting problems associated with the Company's final product and the customer's building process. Support the customer in areas such as : Drawings, Instruction Manuals, Bill of Materials, Care Packages. Interact with other members of the Company's Sales and Customer Service Teams to develop strategies, resolve problems and implement solutions to support the Customer. Provide answers on behalf of the Engineering Department. Relay information from the engineering department to the Sales / Customer Experience Teams. Update project notes within collaborative operation software. Research fulfilled order information to ensure accurate product details released from engineering department. Run 2D Analysis on tubular frames when necessary. Requirements : Research oriented Experience in troubleshooting and customer service Time management and Project Management skills necessary Detailed note taking and communication skills Understanding of technical drawings High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degrees or technical school certificate in a mechanical related discipline a plus Strong PC skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Power Point), Google Sheets, Microsoft 365 Effective communication skills, both verbal and written as well as proven presentation skills. Ability to clearly and effectively interact with customers on a variety of levels.
