We’re building the software infrastructure that enables hospital-quality care, at home. As healthcare costs have increased, the patient’s home has become incredibly important as a site of care.


Yet, patients recovering at home are highly underserved. Patients can only get better at home if they receive the high-quality care that they need reliably. The existing in-home care process involves a patchwork of different vendors, all connected through faxes and phone calls. We’re building modern, robust software that solves this challenge. We currently operate across 47 states with most of the largest health systems in the US.


We’re backed by some of the best investors in technology and healthcare and have ambitious expansion plans. It’s a particularly exciting time to join the company as we’re aggressively expanding the team.


This is our first dedicated manufacturer and distributor relations role, focused on procurement strategy and vendor contract implementation. Although Verse is digital health company, this role is a good fit for someone with the right combination of analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills regardless of past healthcare or technology industry experience.


What the role consists of:

  • Manufacturer relationship management: negotiate and implement direct contracts with medical product manufacturers
  • Distribution strategy: work with Operations, Finance, Strategy, and Product leaders to help decide which products we should be purchasing from different vendors
  • New vendor setup: work with internal Product and Operations teams to make sure we're able to scale efficiently as we bring in new vendors
  • Financial analysis: analyze the profitability or favorability of various initiatives or product lines
  • Plan and execute complex business development initiatives
  • Unlike a conventional strategy role, this is a highly execution- and implementation-oriented role and you must be a very hands-on operator to succeed in this role


What we're looking for:

  • 2 years in a previous consulting, business development, or operations role
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to meet with senior executives of our large vendor partners
  • Consultative, willing to take feedback and iterate accordingly
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Willingness to take on complex and ambiguous challenges with a can-do attitude. This role may occasionally require extended working hours to meet deadlines and achieve business-critical objectives

Salary : $80,000 - $125,000
