Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepares engineering project plans, including drawings, specifications, required permit procurement, and material ordering for the gas and water distribution system.
- Develop short-term and long-term planning by completing analysis with modeling tools for the gas and water systems considering system loads, reliability, and future needs.
- Originates engineering specifications required for contract bids (e.g. survey mapping projects, horizontal directional drilling, excavation work, water supply and distribution system, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of increasing responsibility in natural gas and/or water distribution systems, engineering, and operations.
- Valid Minnesota Driver's license.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable as a minimum qualification.
- 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
