At Versiti, we are passionate about improving the lives of patients and helping our healthcare partners thrive.Position Summary : The Medical Sciences Institute at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI seeks an interested, enthusiastic, and collegial junior or mid-career clinical faculty member to join our multidisciplinary team to provide patient care and support services for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders in a unique role that also provides clinical consultation within our diagnostic laboratories. As a federally funded hemophilia treatment center (HTC), Versiti's Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders (CCBD) provides diagnosis and ongoing medical and supportive care for patients who are born with, or acquire, a bleeding or clotting disorder across the lifespan. As the HTC serving southeastern Wisconsin, we aim to provide state-of-the-art, personalized medical care to all our patients.Responsibilities : Duties include care of adult and possibly pediatric patients with hemophilia, severe von Willebrand disease, and rare coagulation disorders among other disorders of hemostasis / thrombosis.This position also includes possibilities of administrative leadership and clinical research.Opportunity to teach and mentor trainees.We embrace and encourage diversity in our workforce.
