Versus Capital Advisors LLC is a Denver-based registered investment adviser that designs and manages unique investment strategies (currently ~$4.8 billion) that have the potential to deliver diversifying returns and consistent income sourced from real assets including real estate, infrastructure, farmland, and timberland.
We are looking for an Associate/Senior Associate Fund Accountant to join our Fund Financial Operations team to assist in the growth and expansion of new business lines as well as to help strengthen our existing business.
The Associate/Senior Associate Fund Accountant will support the accurate determination of Net Asset Values (NAVs) for 1940 Act registered interval funds (the “Funds”) advised by Versus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Interpret and process periodic capital call, distribution, and redemption notices, and quarterly capital statements for private equity investments.
· Interpret and process periodic coupon and PIK notices, funding requests, and interest rate resets for private debt investments.
· Prepare daily trade blotter and corporate action processing instructions for private equity and private debt investments of the Funds, to be processed by the Funds’ administrator. Oversee accuracy of processing and resulting impact to the Funds’ NAVs.
· Assist with private security set up and maintenance processes with the Funds’ administrator.
· Assist with daily valuation processes for the Funds, including determining prices of the Funds’ investments, instructing prices to the Funds’ administrator, and overseeing the accuracy of Fund investment valuations and Fund NAVs.
· Perform periodic valuation oversight functions as required by Rule 2a-5, including pricing vendor oversight and valuation backtesting.
· Perform other accounting and oversight processes as needed.
· Other functions as assigned.

Basic Qualifications & Competencies
· BA/BS degree required with a major in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
· 2-5 years’ experience in fund accounting, investment adviser or fund administrator roles.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
· Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the base salary range for this role is
$70k-$90k. In addition to the base salary, the employee will be eligible for a discretionary bonus for each fiscal quarter of the Company.
Actual compensation offered will be based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
