Vertafore is looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager within the Enterprise Applications team to drive successful delivery of internal projects that help deliver company success. This position blends traditional project management responsibilities with business analysis tasks, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities include creating, implementing, and maintaining project plans; including designating resources, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed the entire way. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with leadership and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.
Ultimately, the project managers duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:
· Drive cross-functional projects from initiation to completion
· Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and resources
· Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
· Continuously monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
· Anticipate problems and complications, and formulate solutions so as not to impede the progress of projects
· Manage project risks and dependencies and escalate appropriately to senior leadership
· Facilitate meetings and document key decisions
· Act as the point of contact and communicate status to all team members and stakeholders
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, plans and reports to identify areas of improvement
· Collaborate with internal business and technical teams as needed for successful implementation of projects
· When relevant collaborate with the Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workday teams in Enterprise Applications to define project related Stories and help with sprint planning that is used within the Agile process
· Drive effective collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across all functional business areas
