- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain pharmacy information systems (e.g., prescription management software, electronic health records, and inventory systems).
- Assist in implementing and upgrading pharmacy IT solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to workflows.
- Train pharmacy staff on the proper use of IT systems, emphasizing best practices for accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, resolve technical issues, and escalate complex problems to the IT department when necessary.
- Ensure data integrity and maintain secure, HIPAA-compliant practices for patient information.
Must Have's :
1) Certified Pharmacy Technician
2) IT Experience with any EHR (Cerner, Epic, Medhost, Meditech, etc.)
3) Knowledge of Microsoft Office
4) Self-Initiator & Works well with teams
5) Accurate and attention to details
6) Hospital experience
Plus : Emergency Department experience a plus
