Job Title: Lead SAP AMS Consultant (P2P)

Location: Normal, IL

Duration: Long-term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle production support, collaborating with the Offshore Team Lead and team members on day-to-day support tickets.
• Acknowledge tickets, analyze issues, and update details, ensuring tickets are resolved or assigned appropriately.
• Utilize ticket handling tools such as SNOW and JIRA to manage and monitor ticket status, providing timely updates to users.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of SAP functionality, including standard configuration for the module.
• Monitor batch jobs, addressing cancelled or long-running jobs as needed.
• Provide insights into the design of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows while identifying Fiori Apps.
• Execute system unit testing and integration testing, including performing tests and resolving errors.
• Offer day-to-day support for role design and take ownership of tickets until closure.

Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• SAP certification is preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience as an independent SAP MM consultant on real-life SAP implementations.
• Extensive experience in Materials Management (Purchase, Inventory Management, and Accounts Payable).
• Proficient in Material Master, Vendor Master, Info-records, and other master data functions.
• Solid knowledge of Fiori apps (both standard and custom).
• Expertise in Material Planning, including Deterministic, Consumption-based, Forecast, and Reorder Point Planning.
• Good understanding of Hierarchical and Variant Structure BOM.
• Hands-on experience with Procurement of Direct Materials, Indirect Materials, Services, and Capital Procurement.
• In-depth knowledge of PR, PO, Scheduling Agreement, Contracts, Release Strategy, and Workflows.
• Expertise in Output Procedures and Methods, along with experience in all Goods Movements.
• Proficiency in Intra and Intercompany STO Processes.
• Strong experience in Valuation, Price Control, and Pricing Procedures.
• Integration experience between P2P, EWM, O2C, and R2R.
• Familiarity with EDI, ALE/IDOC, and other interface methods.

Technological Skills:

• MM Configuration for S/4HANA.
• Design of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW) as part of Fit-Gap Analysis.
• Proficient knowledge of Project Management Methodology (ASAP, S/4HANA Activate).
• Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
