Description:
- Performs inspection, diagnoses, repairs, and monitors systems structure, gear, controls, power, and electrical and/or electronic systems and components as assigned.
- Receives technical guidance from team leads and/or supervisors, which may be more senior technicians.
- Uses hand tools, power tools, machines, and ancillary equipment required to perform assigned tasks.
- Reads and interprets service and manufacturer maintenance manuals, instructions, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of maintaining and repairing malfunctioning systems, and/or ancillary equipment.
- Follow specific requirements for Ordnance maintenance IAW COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series and maintenance instructions.
- Cleans aircraft parts and assemblies with solvents or other cleaning solutions.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned based on skillsets.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
- Basic knowledge of common hand tools.
