Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Partner plays a critical role in supporting school clients by identifying and hiring top talent across multiple geographic regions. This unique recruiting position manages the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening candidates to collaborating with school leaders on hiring decisions for multiple school entities. With a focus on sourcing and building strong relationships, the Talent Acquisition Partner works closely with hiring managers to fill a wide range of roles, from entry-level positions to school leadership. Through their efforts, the VSS Talent Acquisition Partner helps ensure that schools are fully staffed with the right talent to support student success and educational excellence. The ideal candidate will support Vertex Support Services as it builds out the HR function by designing standard processes, testing new initiatives, and working through ambiguity to find ideal solutions.
Essential Functions:
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage the recruitment process from sourcing to hiring for assigned schools.
- Develop and execute strategic hiring plans to meet tight timelines and fill hard-to-fill roles.
- Utilize multiple ATS platforms and job boards, and ensure efficient tracking, for multiple clients simultaneously.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience through timely communication.
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Be highly proactive and determined in sourcing and engaging candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for key positions, anticipating future hiring needs.
- Implement creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates despite talent shortages.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on ideal candidate profiles and sourcing strategies.
Strategic Recruitment & Relationship Building
- Serve as a strategic partner to school leaders, providing consultative support on hiring needs across multiple regions.
- Stay informed on education sector hiring trends to refine strategies.
- Make recommendations to school leaders on best hiring practices and interview techniques.
Marketing & Employer Branding
- Develop compelling job postings and recruitment materials in line with schools’ mission and culture.
- Represent the organization at recruitment events and networking opportunities as needed.
Data & Process Optimization
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously optimize hiring processes to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-fill.
- Ensure compliance with all hiring policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Leverage ATS and recruitment tools to maintain accurate candidate records and streamline workflows.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in education with multi-location environments
- Experience recruiting for a wide range of roles, from entry-level to leadership positions.
- Demonstrated experience implementing creative strategies for candidate sourcing and engagement.
- Familiarity with hiring in a tight labor market and overcoming obstacles to hiring.
- Proficiency in using multiple Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
- Strong track record of building relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting in the education sector or for schools.
- Experience working across multiple geographic regions.
