Responsibilities:
- Delivery and Setup:
- Operate a 26ft box truck to deliver merchandise to various locations throughout NYC.
- Load, unload, and deliver large items, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Set up merchandise at customer locations as needed.
- Customer Service:
- Provide top-notch customer service during deliveries, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues on-site.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients and customers during deliveries.
- Route Management:
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Efficiently manage time to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to NYC traffic conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all deliveries comply with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Possess a valid and up-to-date DOT Medical Card.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain a clean driving record.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent and strong route delivery experience, particularly in NYC.
- Proven experience handling and delivering large or heavy items.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate NYC traffic and parking challenges.
- Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deliveries.
- Problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected delivery or customer challenges.
- Qualifications:
- Clean driver's license (Non-CDL).
- Must hold a valid DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to lift and move large or heavy merchandise (up to industry-standard limits).
