Food Distribution Company Needs Inventory Associates

RATE: $16.00 HOURLY
Stock received orders to appropriate storage areas to include unpacking, counting, recording, and stocking .

Stock received orders to appropriate storage areas to include unpacking, counting, recording, and stocking .
- Perform audits on incoming inventory to ensure items on invoice match items delivered.
- Receive and unload delivery vehicles.
- Organize, clean, label and maintain kitchen storage areas to include shelves, floor, walls, coolers, and freezers.
- Inform supervisor of any outdated, damaged, or inferior product received.
- Review orders for completeness and accuracy; receive and document merchandise as it arrives.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
- Basic knowledge of the organization products and services
- Basic math and reading skills
- Organized, detailed oriented, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to communicate well both written and verbally
- Basic knowledge of food and safety practices.
- Physical mobility to load, transport, unload product
- Two (2) years previous inventory, purchasing, stock.
