Budget Analyst

Seeking a Budget Analyst to provide contract support to the Department of Navy (DON), Chief Information Office (CIO). The Budget Analyst will generate DOD funding documents, attend budget/ programmatic/execution meetings, and interact with the customer and other stake holders on a regular basis. The ideal applicant will be comfortable collaborating with all levels of personnel regarding updates on various financial tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field.
- Recent DoD and/or government financial management experience.
- Experienced with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
- Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Clearance: A SECRET clearance is required.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor degree in financial management.
- Experience supporting the Department of Navy financial programs.
- Knowledge of Computerized Optimized Batch Reconciliation System (COBRA), Defense Casualty Analysis System(DCAS Defense), and Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
