V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Painter Worker to join our team!
General Overview:
Performs the following duties, and other required activities as assigned. Must demonstrate competencies necessary to meet business requirements. May perform as a member or leader of a functional and/or cross- functional team.
Performs painting tasks using lacquer, rust-proofing agent, or other coating onto metal, wood stock, or fabricated items. May involve special finishing techniques such as marbling and graining that ensures surfaces have a smooth-textured and decorative appearance and meet thickness and level requirements and filling out the appropriate documentation. Prepares items by tinting, toning, matching, blending, and mixing in various additives. Paints articles, using brush, other methods, and will be required to use a spray gun. Will be required to wear an air supplied hood.
Required to have thorough knowledge of any of the accepted surface preparation and coating methods and techniques. Must be able to read and interpret prints, drawings, process routings, process descriptions, and specifications. May transfer items to and from work area. May use a hoist device to lift production units. May be designated according to article painted. Requires bending, reaching and lifting of objects within Raytheon EHSS guidelines. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance may be required.
Required education: High School Diploma or GED.
