Class A CDL Local Truck Driver Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL truck driver to join our team in the Tioga, North Dakota area. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat and/or Tanker Endorsement, and experience hauling crude oil, butane, and propane with tank trucks.
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Participate in safety programs and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Attend toolbox talks and safety meetings, and participate in hazard assessment development and pre-trips/post-trips.
- Work as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers.
- Follow local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
- Perform basic maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Hazmat and/or Tanker Endorsement.
- Experience hauling crude oil, butane, and propane.
- Previous experience operating Tri Axle units, Semi, and double bottom trucks.
- Clean background check.
- Passport is an asset.
