What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver position at Vertex Resource Group?
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Class A CDL Local Truck Driver to join our team in the Williston, North Dakota area. The successful candidate will have experience hauling crude oil, butane and propane with tank trucks, and possess a Hazmat and/or Tanker Endorsement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Participate in safety program by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are adhered to
- Attend toolbox talks and safety meetings, conduct hazard assessments, perform pre-trips/post-trips
- Work as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers
- Follow local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Maintain safety certificate training and ensure units are clean and efficiently operated
- Complete paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines
- Be flexible with workload and schedules, including emergency situations and routine work
- Travel and drive in various weather conditions to customer and/or Vertex worksites

Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Hazmat and/or Tanker Endorsement
- Doubles and Triples endorsement an asset
- Previous experience hauling crude oil, butane and propane
- Previous experience operating Tri Axle units, Semi and double bottom trucks
- Clean background check
- Passport is an asset
