Seeking a IT Project Manager - Power BI and Azure experience (Azure Cloud, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Bricks) with experience in the reinsurance, insurance or financial Industry
Role: Project Manager - Power BI / Azure
Type: w2 / (Client cannot accept c2c or visa candidates at this time)
Duration: 6 Months (Will be extended)
Location: New York City, NY (3 days onsite Tuesday and Thursday are anchor days)
DESIRED Experience:
- PMP or Scrum Master Certification
- Azure Cloud
- Azure Data Lakes / Azure Data Bricks
- Power BI (enterprise reporting)
- Azure DevOps
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and timelines and coordinate with the workstream leads and business owner. Maintain backlogs, user stories and task boards
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide updates, status and manage expectations.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including data analyst, engineers and stakeholders ensuring collaboration and alignment towards project goals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in project management, program management, managing data, reporting and BI projects.
- Power BI
- Azure Cloud Platforms
- Azure Data Lakes
- Azure Data Bricks
- Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Reinsurance / Insurance/ Financial
