The Director of Sales (for the Retail Utility Industry) is responsible for leading and managing the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, overseeing store operations, and driving revenue growth. The Director of Retail Sales will work closely with senior management to align retail initiatives with the company's overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy : Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Team Leadership : Leading, mentoring, and motivating the retail sales team.
- Store Operations : Overseeing the day-to-day operations of retail stores.
- Customer Experience : Ensuring a superior customer experience by implementing best practices in customer service and sales techniques.
- Budget Management : Managing the retail sales budget, including forecasting, expense control, and resource allocation.
- Performance Monitoring : Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
- Collaboration : Working closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of retail initiatives with overall business goals.
- Market Expansion : Identifying and pursuing opportunities for market expansion, including new store openings and partnerships.
- Compliance : Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
