Asphalt Milling Forman

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forman to lead our construction team on various projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, particularly in asphalt work. As a Forman, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Must have a working knowledge of roadway construction and asphalt milling.
• Ability to supervise Milling crew activities to maintain design specifications and quality standards.
• Takes responsibility for crew performance, including safety, adherence to company policies, and exceeding customer expectations.
• Knowledgeable operating milling machine in different modes, reviewing equipment condition and maintenance needs, and adjusting to different road variables.
• A strong advocate for promoting and maintaining safe working practices and adherence to company safety standards.
• Willingness to perform additional projects and duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-year experience with Wirtgen or Roadtec Asphalt Milling Machines.
• Willing to workdays, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Able to complete all daily paperwork.
• Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Extended hours
• Home daily
• Monday to Friday
• Nights as needed
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:
